Summary

A novel technique for measuring the low critical fields for high-temperature superconductor ceramics is demonstrated. The method is based on the direct-current magnetic field dependence of the real part of the complex alternating-current susceptibility detected by changes in the resonant frequency of the megahertz oscillator in which the high-temperature superconducting ceramic is placed in the coil.
