DIRECT DIGITAL CONTROL APPLIED TO TEMPERATURE MANAGEMENT IN COMMERCIAL FREEZERS FOR USE IN BIOLOGICAL RESEARCH.

APPLICATION DU CONTROLE DIGITAL AU MAINTIEN DE LA TEMPERATURE DES CONGELATEURS COMMERCIAUX UTILISABLES DANS LA RECHERCHE BIOLOGIQUE.

Summary

THIS ARTICLE SHOWS THE APPLICATION OF DIRECT DIGITAL CONTROL TO THE TEMPERATURE OF A CHEST FREEZER WHOSE MECHANICAL INSTALLATION HAS BEEN SLIGHTLY MODIFIED. RESULTS SHOW THAT TEMPERATURE DEVIATES VERY LITTLE FROM THE SETPOINT, AND THAT IT CAN VARY ACCORDING TO A PRESET CURVE. THE TOTAL COST OF THE SYSTEM IS QUITE ACCEPTABLE.
