Summary

THEORETICAL ANALYSIS OF THE EFFECT OF THERMOMETRIC AND HYGROMETRIC PARAMETERS DURING THE COOLING STAGE ON TEMPERATURE DISTRIBUTION, HEAT DISCHARGE IN ATMOSPHERE, THE FORMATION AND DISTRIBUTION OF THERMAL STRESSES IN A CONCRETE ELEMENT DURING ITS COOLING. THE AA. CHECKED CONCRETE ELEMENTS SUBJECTED TO THERMAL TREATMENT WITH LOW PRESSURE STEAM. THEY SHOWED THAT THE BOUNDARY INTENSITY OF COOLING (20 K/H) IS NOT A SUFFICIENT CRITERION FOR PROTECTING CONCRETE AGAINST CRACKING. THEY PROPOSED A MODIFIED CYCLE FOR THE THERMAL TREATMENT OF CONCRETE, CONSISTING OF SHORT TERM INTERNAL HEATING AND LONG-TERM CONTROLLED COOLING. (Bull. anal.
