Emerging alternative business models – like ‘Heat as a Service’ – tackle key consumer barriers and promise to open up new market opportunities in retrofit for technologies like heat pumps. The authors assess how alternative propositions are gaining traction in Europe, assess customer response to such models based on our own primary research, and discuss what this trend means for the heat pump industry.
