Distributed air conditioning in supermarkets.

Author(s) : CALTON D.

Type of article: Article

Summary

If conditioned air is exhausted at the chilled display area of a supermarket, the higher moisture content of this air will add to the frosting of case evaporators. An improved arrangement is to inject dry air at the refrigerated display cases, which will reduce frosting and sweating, and therefore the load these impose on the air-conditioning system. A.R.T.
