Summary
The authors developed a model enabling simulation of the dynamic accumulation performance of stacked rectangular capsules and performed numerical calculation. The impacts of a subcooling agent and coolant mass flow rate on the performance in terms of accumulation were analysed. The model provides a basis for design and optimization of this type of ice-storage system.
