Summary

THIS PAPER IS CONCERNED WITH THE FUNCTION OF THE THERMAL STORAGE TANK THAT ELIMINATES THE HEAT LOAD PEAKS. THE CONCEPT OF IS INTRODUCED. IF IT IS TOO LOW, THE TANK MAY NOT WORK EFFECTIVELY AND IF IT IS EXCESSIVE, THE TANK MAY BE OVERLOADED. A PROPER BALANCE BETWEEN THE CAPACITY OF THE COOLING COIL AND THAT OF THE REFRIGERATOR IS CRUCIAL IN ATTAINING THE PROPER TANK HEAT LOAD.
