Dynamic simulation of a refrigeration cycle (R22).

Summary
A dynamic model of a vapour-compression refrigeration cycle with single component refrigerant R22 was developed, consisting of an inverter-driven scroll compressor, cross-fin-tube heat exchangers and other components. The model was validated by comparison with measured data on hot and cold start-up operations of the compressor. An application was introduced, in which this model was applied for optimization of expansion valve openings in the start-up mode of a heat pump.
