Summary
The paper presents the results of mathematical investigation of a complete R134a air conditioning system with an added economizer circuit. Principles of operation of air conditioning system with the economizer are described. Modelling techniques of the economizer thermodynamic cycle and rotary vane compressors with the economizer induction are presented. Potential economizer effect, system performance, operating pressures, and exergy analysis results are discussed.
