THE EFFECT ON FERTILITY OF DIFFERENT CONCENTRATIONS OF GLYCEROL IN FOWL SEMEN WERE STUDIED. IT WAS CONCLUDED THAT WHEN GLYCEROL IS USED AS A CRYOPROTECTANT, ITS CONCENTRATION IN THAWED SEMEN SHOULD BE REDUCED TO BELOW 0,16 M BEFORE INSEMINATION OTHERWISE FERTILITY WILL BE IMPAIRED.
