Summary
THE AUTHORS REPORT THE RESULTS OF A THERMODYNAMIC ANALYSIS OF THE ENERGY INDICES OF THE THEORETICAL CYCLES OF REFRIGERATING MACHINES OPERATING WITH A SINGLE FLUID OR A FLUID MIXTURE. THE HEAT LOADS, INCLUDING MIXTURES WITH LIMITED AND UNLIMITED SOLUBILITY OF LIQUID COMPONENTS, ARE STUDIED. IT IS SHOWN THAT FOR OPERATION WITH MIXTURES, A SUFFICIENTLY HIGH EFFICIENCY OF REFRIGERATING MACHINES CAN BE PROVIDED IN A WIDE TEMPERATURE RANGE.
