Summary

In the present work, a numerical study of heat transfer in an oblique two-dimensional combined turbulent wall and offset jet flow was performed. Different turbulence models were tested in the present study. A parametric study was also presented to investigate the effect of the wall inclination b and the Reynolds number Re on the average Nusselt number Nu and the average wall heat flux q . Constant wall heat flux and constant wall temperature boundary conditions were considered. Analyzing the numerical results show
that the heat transfer exchanged between the oblique wall and the whole flow is more intense for low values of wall inclination b , for high values of Reynolds number Re and under constant wall heat flux boundary condition.
