SEASONAL ENERGY EFFICIENCY RATIOS ARE DETERMINED USING A WEATHER BIN METHOD OF ANALYSIS AND MEASURED CHARACTERISTICS OF VARIOUS AIR CONDITIONERS. IT IS NOTED THAT THE EFFECT OF CYCLING IN THE FIELD TESTED AIR CONDITIONERS IS TO DECREASE EFFICIENCIES BY AN AMOUNT IN THE ORDER 5 TO 10%.
