Summary

Tubers harvested on 3 different dates, were kept at 15 deg C and a relative humidity of 80 to 95%, and at 7 deg C and a relative humidity of 95% before storage, whether or not they were watered the day before harvest. A study of the development of diseases was undertaken. Processing at 15 deg C and a relative humidity of 80% reduces diseases. The drying of tubers soon after harvest also prevents some diseases.
