Summary
To enhance the heat pump behaviour, it is important to increase the evaporation temperature or to lower the condensation temperature. This is possible by increasing the thermal transfer coefficient with the use of porous coatings on the heat exchanger surfaces. Some considerations and test results in the field of metal coating are discussed.
