Summary

IN THIS ELECTRONIC EXPANSION VALVE, THE NEEDLE VALVE MOVEMENT IS MOTORISED AND MONITORED BY A MICROCOMPUTER TO MAINTAIN A SATISFACTORY REFRIGERATION CYCLE. THIS EXPANSION VALVE PROVIDES PROPER CONTROL OF THE REFRIGERATION CYCLE, REVERSIBLE REFRIGERANT FLOW, HENCE IT IS SUITABLE FOR A REVERSIBLE HEAT PUMP AIR CONDITIONER. THE MICROCOMPUTER PROGRAM CAN BE SIMPLE SINCE THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN THE MOTORISED VALVE AND REFRIGERANT FLOW RATE IS LINEAR. THE EXPANSION VALVE IS EASY TO ASSEMBLE AND REPAIR.
