Energy consumption in domestic refrigerators.
[In Russian. / En russe.]
Author(s) : PISKUNOV V. V.
Type of article: Article
Summary
The objective evaluation of the actual electricity consumption in domestic refrigeration appliances is very important for determining and improving output, and for better informing consumers. The comparison made between the methods used in the USA and in Japan, for defining the energy consumption, and the results of tests, show considerable differences between the different cases. A better consideration of the distinguishing features of the different national objectives and methods of test, and the increase in the number and variety of models tested, would make it possible to improve the accuracy of the results obtained.
