Summary

The needs of a building were calculated on a day-to-day basis. System characteristics were then taken into account. Effective output is calculated and losses considered, enabling fuel and electrical power to be determined according to required capacity. Operating time and part load are also taken into account, as are energy consumption and related cost considerations.
