THIS ARTICLE DESCRIBES AN APPROACH THAT MAY BE USED TO OBTAIN COMPUTER HEATING, VENTILATING AND AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEM DESIGNS THAT ARE MORE ENERGY EFFICIENT THAN HITHERTO. THE DISCUSSION IS LIMITED PRIMARILY TO THE RAISED FLOOR AIR SUPPLY SYSTEM AND TO CENTRAL AIR HANDLING APPARATUS. A PATENTED DOUBLE BYPASS SYSTEM IS ALSO DESCRIBED. E.W.S.
