ACCORDING TO THE MEASUREMENTS CARRIED OUT AND TO THE LITTERATURE DATA, THE AUTHORS HAVE ANALYZED THE OPERATION OF VARIOUS HERMETIC AND ENGINE-DRIVEN COMPRESSORS, WHICH ARE COOLED BY THE SUCTION VAPOUR AND BY THE COMPRESSED GAS, AND WHICH OPERATE DISCONTINUOUSLY. LOSSES WERE QUANTIFIED, AND SEVERAL PROPOSITIONS WERE DERIVED, AIMING AT MINIMIZING THEM.
