Type of article: Article
Summary
Cooling load calculations of conventionally and automatically operated cold stores prove that for automatic operation less cooling capacity is required to maintain storage conditions. As a result, energy consumption of the refrigeration plant is much less. Operational costs for the end user will lessen; also the reduction of CO2 emission is positive influenced. The return on the extra investments sustained - with possible subsidy for automatic operated storage systems - is achieved in short time. These systems may be used very successfully.
