Summary

AN ACCOUNT IS GIVEN OF RESEARCH WORK ON THE DEFROSTING SYSTEM OF THE THREE-STAR DUAL TEMPERATURE REFRIGERATOR. ACCORDING TO THE EXPERIMENTS DEFROSTING AFTER EVERY REFRIGERATING CYCLE IS SUPERFLUOUS. BY SUBSTANTIAL REDUCTION OF THE NUMBER OF DEFROSTING THE ENERGY REQUIREMENT IS REDUCED AND AT THE SAME TIME THE TEMPERATURE OF THE REFRIGERATED SPACE BECOMES EVEN LOWER.
