Summary
This article presents an analysis of the main components of a refrigerating circuit and ways of reducing energy consumption. Among them: improving the compressor's performance, reducing the temperature difference in the heat exchangers, lowering the condensing temperature, increasing the evaporating temperature, using the heat produced during condensation. The necessity of avoiding oversizing or downsizing of the plants is highlighted; suitably adapted regulation is also mandatory.
