ENERGY SAVINGS IN HERMETIC REFRIGERATING COMPRESSORS.
[In German. / En allemand.]
Author(s) : GUNTHER E.
Type of article: Article
Summary
DOMESTIC REFRIGERATION UNITS HAVE A SHARE OF ABOUT 2% OF THE OVERALL ELECTRICAL ENERGY CONSUMPTION OF THE GDR. THE AUTHOR DESCRIBES MEASURES WHICH MAKE IT POSSIBLE TO REDUCE THE ENERGY DEMAND OF SMALL HERMETIC REFRIGERANT COMPRESSORS. A DISTINCTION HAS TO BE MADE BETWEEN CONSIDERING THE HERMETIC REFRIGERANT COMPRESSOR UNDER STANDARD CONDITIONS AND CONSIDERING IT UNDER THE ACTUAL OPERATING CONDITIONS IN A DOMESTIC REFRIGERATOR. REFERENCE IS ALSO MADE TO WAYS OF OPTIMIZING ENERGY UNDER ACTUAL OPERATING CONDITIONS.
