Emphasis will be on the reduction of greenhouse effect; the industry will concentrate on energy savings. Regarding hermetic compressors, the areas of research will be: electric motors, mechanical structures, fluid-dynamic structures (optimization of valves as well as fluid flow inside the various volumes, reduction of clearance volume and suction temperature).
