Type of article: Article
Summary
A textile processing factory building has been investigated for its energy balance. The thermal energy demand of the building is analyzed for various factors: the orientation and structure of the building, the energy absorption by the roof and walls and the extension of glass surfaces. The purpose was to get information on the solar radiation and on the heat flow through the walls as well as the determination of various effects on the total heating and cooling energy demand.
