Summary
In the simulating of the LNG process, enthalpy and entropy are two very important parameters. The Soave-Redlich-Kwong (SRK) equation is used to calculate the vapour-liquid equilibrium, ideal enthalpy and ideal entropy of refrigerant and natural gas. The Lee-Kesler-Plocker (LKP) equation and SRK equation are used to calculate complementary enthalpy and complementary entropy. The results of calculation, compared with the experiments, indicate that using the LKP equation to calculate the enthalpy of natural gas and refrigerant is reasonable.
