Type of article: Article
Summary
A computer program applicable to calculation of the voltage distribution within superconducting coils during a quench has been developed. From comparison with an experiment with a small superconducting solenoid, it was confirmed that the program correctly calculated the voltage distribution and was applied to the quench analysis of a superconducting magnet system operated in the persistent mode.
