Summary
Over the past few decades, buildings energy consumption has risen seriously due to the growth of population and to the increase demand of comfort in indoor environment. Thus, the aim of this paper is the elaboration of new lightweight mortars made with different percentage of polystyrene beads and wood shavings. These samples have been thermally characterized using an inverse problem based on the use of a genetic algorithm. The obtained results demonstrate that the thermal conductivities of the
elaborated samples have been improved.
