The overall strategic aim was to reduce primary energy consumption (and consequently CO2 emissions) through efficient natural ventilation strategies in office type buildings without compromising indoor air quality and comfort, with two specific objectives: 1) identify and overcome technical barriers to natural ventilation and low-energy cooling in countries with temperate and cold climates; 2) provide practical solutions and guidance.
