Guidelines developed by the Commission of the European Communities to assist designers in choosing the air change rate necessary to maintain acceptable indoor air quality inside non-industrial buildings. The effects of air pollution on both human health and comfort are dealt with. The evaluation of the air quality in relation to comfort refers to the Fanger theory based on olfs and decipols. E.F.
