This edition of the yearbook already takes into account the expansion of the European Union: the Standardization-recommendations section already comprises the names and contact details of ministerial departments, trade organizations and standardization organizations in the 10 new countries. It also has updated the contact details (including e-mail addresses) of 4297 companies. Names and addresses of professionals in the refrigeration and air-conditioning industries in Europe are given in the following fields: professional and official organizations; education; manufacturers, distributors and importers; contractors; cold stores/refrigerated transport. The yearbook also provides information on standardization, recommendations and on major professional events in the field. A bilingual theme and company index is given.
