LABORATORY FUME COPBOARDS HAVE ADJUSTABLE FRONT OPENINGS, SO THAT THE AIR MASS FLOW CAN BE KEPT TO A MINIMUM WHILE MAINTAINING THE REQUIRED INWARDS VELOCITY. IMPROVED DESIGNS HAVE BEEN TESTED TO ASHRAE STANDARD 10-1985 AND SHOW CONSISTENT AIR SPEEDS AT VARIOUS OPENING SIZES. A.R.T.
