A CALCULATION PROGRAM IS ILLUSTRATED FOR AN ECONOMIC AND ENERGETIC ANALYSIS OF AIRCONDITIONING PLANT FOR INDOOR SWIMMING POOLS. AS AMBIENT CONDITIONS AND THE TYPE OF USE ARE DETERMINED, THE PROGRAM SIMULATES THE OPERATION, OVER THE YEAR, OF DIFFERENT TYPES OF PLANT (HEAT RECOVERY UNITS, HEAT PUMPS, ETC). THEY CAN THUSBE COMPARED FOR INSTALLATION COSTS AND THE POTENTIAL ENERGY SAVINGS DURING OPERATION. THE AUTHORS REFER TO THE APPLICATION OF THIS CALCULATION PROGRAM IN THE SPECIFIC CASE OF THE TOWN SWIMMING POOL AT PERGINE (TRENTO).
