Summary

Solar liquid regenerator as a key component of solar liquid cooling air conditioning system embodies energy saving effect. Solar air pretreatment liquid collector-regenerator, one novel solar collector-regenerator can effectively achieve liquid regeneration in lower temperature. The simulation of heat and mass transfer process of the novel liquid regenerator finds that when effective solution proportion ESP falls from 100 to 62%, the solution outlet concentration increment reaches 70%, regeneration efficiency augments 45.7% and storage capacity SC increases 44%. For higher solution outlet concentration lower solution mass flow rate can be adopted in the novel C/R, in which compared to ESP = 100%, the rate of evaporation of water of ESP = 70% increases 20-30%. About the effect of air mass flow rate on regeneration, the rate of evaporation of water G increases 20-50% when ESP decreases from 100 to 70%, outside of the blind and fall areas. All these show that the pretreatment C/R possesses huge potential of improving and regulating solution regeneration performance.
