Presents the results of an investigation into the indoor environment of a naturally ventilated office and concludes that thermal models based on laboratory tests at steady state conditions cannot accurately represent the real thermal environment. Establishes a field test method which allows an investigation to take account of window and door opening patterns and peoples' reactions to air temperature, fresh air and movement.
