Summary
SPECIFIC CHARACTERISTICS OF TWO-PHASE FLOW IN SOLID HOODED LAYERS OF MULTICHANNEL DESIGN WERE STUDIED AND THE MAXIMAL LOAD WAS DETERMINED. THE KINETIC PROCESSES, AS WELL AS MASS AND HEAT TRANSFER DURING EVAPORATIVE WATER COOLING IN COMPACT BLOWER COOLING TOWERS WERE ANALYSED. EMPIRICAL EQUATIONS WERE ALSO OBTAINED BY THE AA. PROVIDING FOR BASIC CALCULATIONS ON THE SUBJECT DESCRIBED. E.K.
