Summary

THE RESULTS OF COMPUTATION BY A TWO-DIMENSIONAL MATHEMATICAL MODEL OF A DROPLET-VAPOUR FLOW ARE PRESENTED. THE PREDICTED TWO-PHASE FLOW CHARACTERISTICS (TEMPERATURE, VELOCITY AND PHASE CONCENTRATION FIELDS, SPECIFIC DEPOSITION FLOWS, TEMPERATURE OF HEAT EMITTING SURFACES) ARE COMPARED WITH EXPERIMEN THE DEGREE OF THE CONSERVATISM OF SOME CLOSING COEFFICIENTS IS NUMERICALLY INVESTIGATED. THE PREDICTED RESULTS ARE FOUND TO BE IN REASONABLE AGREEMENT WITH THE EXPERIMENTALLY MEASURED DATA.
