SEVERAL HUNGARIAN COLD STORES NOW EMPLOY SCREW COMPRESSOR UNITS MANUFACTURED IN THE GERMAN DEMOCRATIC REPUBLIC. THE ARTICLE REPORTS ON EXPERIENCES GAINED IN ONE STORE OVER THE PAST 8 YEARS. THESE EXPERIENCES HAVE ENABLED THE USERS TO PUT FORWARD SUGGESTIONS REGARDING COMPRESSOR CAPACITIES, OPERATING PRESSURES, OIL COOLING REQUIREMENTS AND ENERGY CONSUMPTION. ON THE WHOLE, THESE COMPRESSORS PROVIDED SAFE AND TROUBLE-FREE OPERATION.
