Experimental and theoretical research to increase energetic characteristics of domestic absorption-diffusion refrigerators with heat pipe application.

Summary

The aim of the study is to find the possibilities of improving the power performances of domestic absorption-diffusion refrigerators with heat pipes installed. Experimental and theoretical investigation on the refrigerator samples was conducted. The study resulted in the increase of thermal coefficient of refrigerators from 0.25 to 0.4. The increase of thermal coefficient is caused by heating the strong solution with partial condensation heat before this solution comes into the refrigerator generator, as well as by the increase of operating temperature of the evaporator with the help of heat pipes due to the improvement of thermal connection with cooled volume.
