Summary

THREE PROPELLER AND TWO CENTRIFUGAL FANS WERE TESTED IN ACCORD ANCE WITH FOUR TEST STANDARDS: FRENCH, BRITISH, AMERICAN AND GERMAN. THE FAN PERFORMANCE CHARACTERISTICS WERE DETERMINED AND COMPARED TO REFERENCE CONDITIONS. THE RESULTS SHOW A REMARKABLE AGREEMENT EXCEPT FOR THE GERMAN STANDARD WHICH, FOR PROPELLER FANS SEEMS TO OVERESTIMATE PRESSURE AND EFFICIENC.
