Summary
Two types of cycles have been operated: long period (160 min) and short period (60 min) cycles. In this heat pump, the adsorber heat transfer coefficient is very low and the boiler has been undersized. No major problems due to the zeolite-water heat pump were encountered, and the coefficient of amplification is satisfactory (1.45, corresponding to an exergetic efficiency equal to 0.54).
