THE STUDY PRESENTS EXPERIMENTAL RESULTS CONCERNING AIR PRESSURE DROP IN EVAPORATIVE CONDENSERS. FOURTEEN MODELS OF IN-LINE BUNDLE AND STAGGERED-BUNDLE SYSTEMS WERE TESTED. A NEW EMPIRICAL FORMULA FOR CALCULATING AIR PRESSURE DROPS ACROSS WET BARE TUBE BUNDLES IS PROPOSED.
