Summary
This paper investigates the heat transfer characteristics of carbon dioxide in a horizontal tube with water in the vertical crossflow form. Experimental data show that the change of heat and mass flux have both great effects on the heat transfer performance. It also analyses the change characteristics of Re, Pr and Nu numbers. Based on the research, this will provide theoretical evidence for gas cooler design.
