Summary
This paper presents the impact of ventilation parameters on outdoor pollutants transfer. The results of the study are the part of the outdoor pollution entering in the dwelling, versus the ventilation air renewal. On the basis of these experiments, the authors have also developed a methodology to assess the air renewal. They adjust the air change rate by comparison between the indoor concentration measurements of carbon monoxide and calculations based on outdoor concentration measurements of carbon monoxide using computer code Siren2000.
