Summary

This second part of the article describes instruments as well as methods used to measure the parameters of the process of a horizontal plate frost covering as well as the parameters of frost layer accumulation. Moreover the function of data conversion to measurable quantities is shown. The following factors were measured: temperature, the relative speed and humidity of air inflow, the temperature of the copper plate, the temperature of the hoar-frost surface, the thickness and mass of the accumulating frost layer, the total heat flux from the plate. The undersurface is in contact with a cascade system of a thermo-electrical heat pomp. The thermo-electrical modules remove the heat (cooling down, outdropping, frosting) or supply it (heating, melting, dehumidifying). If there is no passage of current in the module, then the heat flux measurement is determined by the auxiliary wall metal and the thermo-electrical modules serve to detected heat flux density sensors.
