Experimentation of low-pressure two-phase ejector.

Author(s) : BUTRYMOWICZ D., SMIERCIEW K., KARWACKI J., et al.

Summary

The paper contains the results of experimental investigations the two-phase ejector working with refrigerant R123. The investigations were carried out with the ejector supplied in sharp-edge motive nozzle of various throat diameters (2.00; 3.03; 4.28; 5.08; 5.60 and 6.16 mm) and various operation parameters. The dependence between the entrainment ratio and compression ratio for a constant value of the evaporation pressure and variable back-pressures were investigated in the paper. The static pressure distributions were also investigated. The static pressure measurements were carried out by changing the evaporation pressure at constant back-pressure conditions. The influence of the friction effects on the pressure distribution in the mixing chamber were suggested on the basis of the presented results.
