Summary

The author describes a few significant trends in the development of isotherm rooms made out of insulating preconstructed panels including: CFC phasing out in polyurethane foam expansion, fire hazard control in room design, building and utilization of panels, control of static contamination due to panels in ultra-clean rooms, and the concept of self-supporting rooms.
