Summary
The new technology of electrostatic filters with extruded modular units, combined with thermal ventilation appliances like the fan coil, is today a valid and concrete answer to the problem of healthy air in enclosed environment. Polluting agents are filtered on the spot by recirculation of the air, thus achieving considerable energy and plant operation savings. The fan, equipped with an electronic air filter, reduces microparticles in the air like cigarette smoke, volatile organic compounds, powder, pollen, bacteria, etc., and thus makes houses healthier. The integrated electronic-air-filter systems already have plant lubrication and, in contrast to the separate purification units, they do not compromise the functionality and the lay-out of the room.
