Author(s) : NOVAK P., GRICAR P., TURK J.

Summary

In the paper an overview of the selection criteria for the air-conditioning in high-rise buildings is presented. The fan coil unit design and performance is described. Based on the design of this unit, an air conditioning system for high-rise buildings is proposed. Using micro control units and remote controller, a flexible, user-friendly and energy-efficient four-pipe fan coil unit system with primary air for ventilation, pressurisation and smoke control is proposed.
